Datong Jinsheng Haoda Charcoal Industry Co., Ltd. is located in Datong, the "Coal Capital" of Shanxi Province, specifically in the south of Beicun Village, Xihanling Township, Yungang District, Datong City. It is a coal-based briquet activated carbon enterprise that integrates research and development, production, sales, and application services. The company commenced its preparations in December 2012 and officially commenced production in August 2014. It spans an area of 30,000 square meters and boasts advanced production equipment and comprehensive inspection methods. Currently, the company operates two carbonization production lines, four activation furnaces, one screening production line, and one acid washing production line, with an actual production capacity of 8,000 tons per year. The company employs over 120 staff members, including more than 30 professional technical and management personnel.

The company has been deeply engaged in the field of activated carbon for 12 years and has obtained four certifications from developed countries and regions: NSF (United States), IFANCA HALAL, OU (Kosher), and MUI HALAL (Indonesia). It holds seven valid invention patents and seven utility model patents, and is recognized as a provincial technology center for small and medium-sized enterprises and a high-tech enterprise. It has been identified as a "specialized, refined, unique, and innovative" enterprise. In July 2020, it was awarded the title of "Key Laboratory of Yuntonggang District", and in 2021, it was rated as a national "Key Little Giant". The company has established a cooperative research and development institution with the Carbon Research Institute of Datong University, and is currently establishing a cooperative research institute with the Institute of Environment and Chemistry of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing),The company has obtained three-system certification, five-star after-sales service certification, water-related hygiene license approval, and food production license. The company's product testing adheres to national standards GB/T 7702-2008 and GB1886.255-2016, and also complies with international American standards (ASTM) and Japanese standards (JIS) according to the requirements of foreign customers. The company's briquetting workshop adopts fully automated precision control production processes, with data monitoring and collection uploaded to the cloud.

The company boasts a fully automated American-style briquetting production workshop that was among the first in the industry to incorporate asphalt. The adhesive, coking, and volatile properties of asphalt facilitate the polymerization reaction of later products. Compared to traditional briquettes, the products exhibit superior characteristics such as a more reasonable pore structure, stronger adsorption capacity, higher mechanical strength, and a higher regeneration yield. Activated carbon, as an adsorbent, catalyst, and catalyst carrier, is widely used in water purification, wastewater treatment, exhaust gas treatment, process water treatment, decolorization and purification, and other fields. It is the most widely used adsorbent material in modern industry and environmental protection.
